Four girls...Two sets of sisters...One set of cousins. 2 30-something self-deemed 'old married hags' (Jennie and Kylie) with kids + 1 fastly-approaching 30 'old maid' (Jo) living with a boyfriend + 1 unattached 20-something 'jezebel' (Kel) living in NYC = countless stories in an attempt to keep up with each others lives.

Wishing I was still on vacation!
Well I would have stayed on vacation if I didn't miss my wonderful kids so darn much. I have realized that you need to still take time for yourself and your husband every once in awhile. PS Who is ready for another vacation?

SUPRISE!!!
Yup, you see it right. Those are two new baby puppies in my hand. Whose are they, you might ask? Oh, they would be the new puppies my Chihuahua had...the same Chihuahua I rescued a mere two months ago...and had no idea she was PREGNANT until she had a puppy tonight...not just one puppy, but two...oh me, oh my....

Jo: Well, it's official...Kansas is a snowy, snowy abyss.
But this Iowan is doing a fine, fine job of shoveling the 5-6 inches and counting of the white stuff out of the drive. Nice work, hun.

Kel: We (basically) saw no evil, (practically) heard no evil, and spoke no evil (ish)....
....when attending (and winning!) at Randy's last night of hosting trivia at Cornerstone. Thank you $25 grand prize - you just brought our bar tab down to $13. And, yes, it was also dollar beer night - do the math.

Jo: Spreading the public radio word...
...to the visitors of EudoraReporter.com?! Ha! I guess it's not quite time to rid myself completely of my former burg...at least until, that is, my "big boss" is no longer a resident of the great metroplis of Eudora. As a function of my new position, my contribution was the artwork for the ad.
Kel: He's got moves you've never even seen...
Yashira and I were riding the R train back to the office from a meeting with NYU when we realized we would have some quality train-time entertainment. Yes, I video'd it...what of it? I gave the brothers (as in siblings...not slang reference) a dollar.

Jo: The Grass IS Always Greener 30 Miles to the East of T-Town
Today was our super official moving day, and while I've been sitting on my backside at work all day, SK has been toiling away with movers. It's not that I haven't appreciated my four months living in Topeka, it's just that Lawrence is waaaaay greener :) Hoorah for new house!

Kel: NYE with the posse. Champagne, cocktail dresses, and two homemade hemlines made for an excellent start to 2011!
So...there's obviously a long backstory to this one. Mom, Ky and I had all gone shopping for my NYE cocktail dress. We found what was the 'almost perfect' dress...the dress above with one added layer taking it down to knee-length...unacceptable for NYE standards! Ky fixed mine and put the final touches on the my perfect LBD.
This in the back of my mind, Geraldine and Greg show up to my apartment to celebrate with a bottle of champagne prior to leaving for the event. Ger isn't happy with the dress she brought, so she raided my closet and found this old dress of mine. It was also a bit long via NYE standards...so I figured I could pull a Kylie and whip out a hemline...
= Ger somewhat resembled a balloon. But a very cute, black sequined, spanish sort of balloon.
Oh, and Greg's role in this picture? "I'm staring at your goods."
